I always ask myself, “What’s next?”
Today, also considered “tonight” here in the PH, I was accompanied by friends while working.
Just imagine the situation if you can. The thing is, everyone is currently drunk at this moment. And here I am, doing my best to work and drink as much as I could to follow through.
Let me talk about this huge leap of a festival in my community, CSI’s Love & Arts Festival.
Every day since the 13th of February this year, CSI has been hosting different events to celebrate love and arts, considering that February is both the love month and the National Arts Month, which includes a series of live paintings, art workshops, arts and crafts exhibits, live performances (spoken word poetry and local bands), and screenings of local independent films.
My dearest M,
Looking back at the moments of our lives, it’s safe to say that we have been through a lot, even though some people may say that we just knew each other for a couple of years.
I met you at a busy and progressive time in my life. We were both working, me with my script and you with the coffee. You instantly captured my attention and I’ve been meaning to talk to you and introduce myself, which I do not know if I can pull off. Eventually, you were out on a break and our souls met. The rest is history.
Ever wanted to write a lot of things about the world but don’t know where to start? Me too. Which feels weird, to be honest. For a person who knows how to speak instinctively, it seems that I have forgotten how to write spontaneously. I feel as if my body has a certain filter that hinders me from writing what I want. Or maybe my mind is cluttered, hence, not knowing how to start.
I believe that writing is closer to thinking than speaking.
